I like how Dark Fate is supposed to be the "true" follow up to 1 and 2 and shunts the other movies into an alternate timeline, and yet it has the most "alternate timeline" style plot in the franchise. If they called it "Terminator: What If?" maybe people would be okay with it.

I guess it's pve and the new pvp game mode(s). Probably there'll be exclusive skins and stuff to go along with it.

I didn't care for the pve stuff, but hopefully they're dedicating a team or something to it now so that it will be more in-depth and fun.

I think that while this game is probably going to be not that great, it seems exactly the type of project that a lot of game reviewers wouldn't understand how to review in the slightest. And not in the sense that they wouldn't "get" it, but that most of them are such hacks that they have no idea how to review games objectively and can only write reviews by using comparisons and describing how they feel playing it, and when faced with something so unusual and not like other video games like Death Stranding appears to be they either can only say they didn't have the same kind of entertaining experience with it like they can with other games and give it a bad review, or throw up their hands, give up, and give it a good score just for being experimental.

Yeah, the PC version had different music for certain songs because of licensing issues (probably something to do with the fact that it was re-arranged into MIDI.) Anything song Michael Jackson worked on was replaced.

Poe wasn't even supposed to be a main character. He was originally going to die in the first movie. That explains why he barely does anything in it.

He seems like he could potentially be a cool character, but he's so poorly written. He's absolutely awful in TLJ. And I find it really weird how the movies try to play up him Finn and Rey as being this new trio of close friends when they've barely interacted with each other in canon, let alone as like a primary trio to compare to Luke/Leia/Han.

The opening of the Battle of Coruscant is one of the best moments of all of Star Wars. Hearing those war drums segue into the Force theme is so good.

I'm kind of interested to see how Knuckles Chaotix ends up doing. It has such a forgettable soundtrack overall, but some of the songs are the best in the Sonic series.

Fun fact, when I played this game for the first time as a youngin I named my Celes Maria. So you can imagine i was very very confused when that dialogue came up

I have a similar story for another character but I'll save it for when it comes up later.

I also had the same problem with FF9. Eventually I stopped changing the default names.

I mean, I wanted to get them all because I thought there'd be only two or three, but there's like a dozen of them. The purchase is going from "oh hey, this game I wanted to try out is super cheap" to "I'm going to spend $60 on a game I'm not even sure I'm going to like".

I saw it was on sale on Humble so I wanted to pick it up. But I didn't realize there were so many expansions and add-ons. I'm kind of thinking of picking some of those up too because they're also on sale but I'm not sure which ones are worth it. Any advice on which, if any, to choose?
